Investing with Farmon.ph

What is Farmon.ph and how does it works?

Farmon.ph is a crowdfunding community wherein investors and local farmers partners together in farming. It’s a win-win situation since you as investors has the opportunity to help local farmers with their livelihood plus you will enjoy the benefit of having a percentage of the earnings from the crops harvested. It’s like you help and earn as well.

As of now, they have 6 farms in Isabela and Quirino with many crops and live stocks to choose from. But take note that not all crops were available every farming cycle. A certain crop or livestock that is available on the previous cycle may be not available for the next cycle. You might also check available crops per farm, since they offer difference crops per area.

Take a look of screenshot from their 2 farms.

other farm also at Isabela

Also, you don’t have to worry about your investment since investors are protected by a crowdfunding shield. This shield protects any unforeseen event such as typhoon, flood or other calamities that will affect our crops. Farmon will replace the seeds and will replant them with no extra charge.

Farmon.ph and Me being a Farmoner (investor)

I learned Farmon thru a Facebook page. I got curious with the post and positive comments regarding virtual farming. I liked and followed the page since then. I opened the official website of Farmon (https://www.farmon.ph/).

From there, I learned more of their advocacies in helping our local famers and promote agriculture in our country. I admired their project that I became eager to be part of their mission helping our fellow farmers.

I registered and created my account. However you can only register if the cycle is open, so must wait and checked from time to time if the next cycle is open. That’s where the Facebook page helps, because from there, you can see any updates and news if a new cycle is open. Oh and one more thing, there’s a new rule (started from 12th cycle) that you need a referral from existing registered farmoners before you can register and invest here.

I joined Farmon.ph since their 11th cycle (July 2016) and since then, I re-invest every cycle after that.  Take a look below of my profits percentage per cycle. It’s good to see how my money earns more compared to a conventional saving account.

I also tried to withdraw my profit to check if my request will be transacted easily. Good to know that it’s not that hard, you must follow their cut-off schedule which is every 20th of the month if I am not mistaken. If you made a request before the 20th, your request will be processed and expect your money next month or three weeks.

I also joined their community forum. So while we wait for the new cycle to open, you can browse the forum and read various topics. It’s a very informative forum, where all general questions regarding how farmon works, how to register and invest in a cycle, how to withdraw, see the profits from the previous cycles and other scenario which can possible be happen to you can be read here.

Right now, I have pending crops to be harvested from my 13th & 14th cycle. Likewise, I’m waiting for the next cycle and hopefully I can invest more.

Kudos and more power to Farmon.ph!

Disclaimer: This is my personal review. I am not paid by Farmon.ph and not working for them. I’m just a registered Farmoner who’s happy with my investments here. So I’m sharing this and hopefully others might be interested.
