Getting my Pag-Ibig Loyalty Card

First thing to know is that the new Pag-Ibig Fund Office in Batangas is located at the 2^nd floor ATDRMAM Building, Kumintang Ibaba. They transferred last November 2016 from their old office in Caedo Calicanto Batangas. (Parking is 

Second – Better to be there late in the afternoon and surely it is not jam-packed as most people tends to do their business in the morning.

Lastly, you should have your Pag-ibig Fund Membership ID Number.

Sharing my experience – I arrived around 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Because of few people, the security guard noticed me immediately and greeted me. He asked what will be my transaction. I showed him my already filled up form for Pag-Ibig Loyalty card (which I downloaded online). He gave me a queue number and showed me Counter 1 which I will be transacting.

While waiting for my number to be called, I’m sitting on a red, soft sofa (which you can tell that it is new). The queue numbers is visibly displayed from large monitors scattered in the office so you can easily see if your numbers is being called from any direction/ viewpoint. The office is also well-conditioned enough making me comfortable while waiting.

More than 30 minutes or so, my number was called. The staff at counter 1 verified my account and my application form. He then gave me payment slip for the loyalty card fee which is Php100.00.  

I approached again the security guard to get a queue number for the cashier counter. I didn’t wait that long since my number is next in line. I settled the payment and received my receipt. The cashier then told me to go to counter beside them where the picture taking and finger printing will take place.

I listed my name on the logbook and again I waited for some time. This is the longest waiting in line among the transaction I made. From time to time, their system needs to be reset and it will take time (15 minutes maybe) before it can continue. And also there is only one staff for this operation. An hour or so, it’s my turn. The staff verify again my information and let me checked the data she inputs in the computer. After I confirm the details, picture taking and finger printed was done. Final procedure is the computerized signature.

Before I leave, the staff told me that it will take 2-3 months before I can claim my card.
